He has some MeisterR's already on it ready to lower it. They're basically the same as BC Racing BR series coilovers.

gorgeous gorgeous epic build of a car.

I have always dreamed of seeing one of these chopped like this. gives the already bulldog stance even more of an angry look.

great work and I'd love to shake your hand some day as I could never have the patience to do something this massive.

Managed to get my callipers fitted today and I am so please with the new paint job on them also managed to put the vibra technic mount in but left the top loose until the engine is ready to go in - it looks stunning and I am so happy with all the little things which have been done today not that its been very productive...

This involved much anger and stress building the gearbox. It has been stripped down to check all the gears, synchronisers and bearings. Had to make some tools too, took me a while to get all the shafts out but I am happy with it all and added new bearings throughout.

This is it part way through

Part way through I forgot how the selector mechanism went back in so this took a little time to figure it out but its all in now and it feels really smooth

Still got some building to do on it, managed to get the quaife LSD in.

With the gearbox built, in went my special clutch which was an fx 200 relined with carbon kevlar compound. The pressure plate and single mass fly wheel from CM all needed to be balanced as they where slightly out so my advice is if you buy a new lightened flywheel go and get it balanced!

Managed to get the engine out the shed thanks to Rich.

Also fitted my inline magnom filter in the sump strainer which is going to work wonders

Now I have my engine and gearbox hooked up its time to put the ancillaries on this week and throw it in next week

Need to order a couple of things for next week so I can start making more bits like the air box...

Small but big update. The engine is finally in the car and while I need to add lots of bits to it I am really happy to see the car come together. Maybe soon we will see it really come to life... Its been long enough in the making!

Amazing! It's a piece of art!
Dumb question, maybe I missed it earlier, but is that a "normal" mini engine? Looks like a diff supercharger on there?

The engine is quite far from standard with most parts changed and upgraded. Blower is off a c32 amg. There has been many modifications to it

This whole project is just sick from top to bottom. Amazing. This makes Overhaulin' look like emptying the ash tray. I am beyond impressed.
