German Mechanics

I am now looking into purchasing mods for Nell, and I know I can install some, i.e. CAI, exhaust, etc. But the 15% pulley, I'm a little worried about doing it myself. I don't want to pay an arm and a leg with the MINI dealership.

Okay, now my question, wondering if anyone has work with off-post mechanics, American or German, with good results?

I am located in Vilseck, which is right by Graf post, and the city of Weiden.

I know daflake, you live around this area, any good suggestions.

Dude, bring it on! I have the tools and just did my 15% this weekend, it is really easy. I recommned the MINI-Madness 15% (Don at Precision MINI is the best..) with a new belt. I would be more than happy to help you do it. I recommend a new best as you might was well change it while you have it on. I have the de-tensioner tool and puller as well as the needed wrenches and jacks.

What color MINI do you have? I have probably seen you driving around.

If you want me to help you install it, just let me know.

Guys, I will probably be dropping off of NAM soon. I have become a full time global mod on another MINI forum and don't really want to take time away from that posting here. Anyway, I will check in from time to time looking to see what is going on.
