19% more MINI goodness!
Awesome first impressions from the Alta 17% pulley and the 2% crank pulley combo! Spool up is noticably quicker (I attribute most of that to the crank pulley) and the motor is much, much stronger. It feels like a lot more than the 10 or so HP I was expecting to pick up from the extra boost.
THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH FOR THE HELP... I owe you big time guys.
I was able to get up to 140 MPH on the Autobahn very quickly then slowly creep up faster through the aerodynamic wall. The car pulls better in every gear and roll-on in 3rd gear is simply awesome now!
Not nearly as much belt whine as I was expecting either (far less than in your car Henry)...dunno why. Maybe I'm still deaf from the cutting wheel and I'll be able to hear it better tomorrow!
All in all this was an awesome set of mods...I'll feel even better about it after the *** pain from the getting the stock crank pulley off fades from my memory but despite that I have no regrets about any of the mods we did today.
BTW, thanks y'all for doing the OCC for me...I'd really hoped to actually lend a hand/do some actual work on that part. I guess my sole contribution to that project was solving the problem w/the sight glass!

91, for sure, somewhere on NAM, you should -- need -- to write up the whole range of issues you had with the crank pulley. For as common as a supercharger pulley swap is, your experience with the crank pulley should separate the men from the boys, when it comes to weekend warrior types.
