OEM Fog Lights Melted?!

About 3 weeks back, my OEM foglights took a dump on me. I've been pretty busy since then so I haven't had a chance to get around to replacing the bulbs. Tonight when I got to it... I was having a REALLY hard time removing the old bulbs... so I looked carefully and the housings had actually melted and gotten in the way of the "key way" for the teeth of the bulbs.

Has this ever happened to anyone? I didn't realize they were made of plastic... that's kind of disconcerning. Either way, does anyone know how much each of these housings is and where I can get them, aside from the dealership? Lemme know.. thanks. I'll post pictures when I pop them off.

Haven't seen melting fogs (but we just got the car).

For parts, you can identify part numbers on realoem.com and then plug them in pelicanparts.com.

For example, http://www.pelicanparts.com/cgi-bin/...on=63176925049

This can happen with over-wattage 'blue' replacement bulbs, but I have not heard of it happening to stock bulbs unless something went seriously wrong with the bulb.

I thought it wasn't working because it didn't refresh, so I hit the button a few more times. Ooops. Is there any way to delete them?
