Mini Cooper S - rear washer.

My first posting - hoping you can all help me. MY wife's uk mini has a simple fault - the rear windscreen washer does not work (ie, no water). It is not a blocked jet or kinked pipe. On the mini, as you may know, there is one washer bottle located on the drivers side (in the uk, presumably on the passengers side on a North American car). The washer bottle only has one pump attached to it - the pump has two outlets. When the pump is directed to rotate in one direction water is pushed out towards the front windscreen washers. When the pump is directed to rotate in the opposite direction water is pushed out of the other outlet towards the rear windscreen washer. How is this achieved - simple there are two relays which are wired such that between them they alter the polarity of the supply to the motor and hence it direction of rotation hence front or back wahser operates - neat !.

The front washer work ok, so I'm assuming the pump motor is ok and the fault is most likely in one (oe both) of the 'polarity' changing relays. My problem is that I do not know where the two relays are to check them out. I am told that both relays are shown on the electrical diagram UK Haynes manual for the car but not where they are physically located. I'm sure the set up would eb the same on the UK/USA/Can cars so can anyone help me out on where these two relays are located. Many thanks, regards yt.
