Radar Detector Mounting ???

I bought a hidden radar kit for my MINI. 2004 Cooper. Where are the optimum places to mount the front and rear sensors? It looks like a fairly easy installation but I dont see any obvious mounting points for the sensors. Thanks for any input.

Also, what is the recommended source for power?

Hmmm don;t know th hidden kit protocal or even the options of where oyu can mount it but higher is genrally better as radar is LOS and so the sooner the detector "sees" the signal the sooner you are notified. But I've also heard on many "hidden" kits mounted in the grills of other makes/models of cars.

Well, it wasn't easy. I ended up mounting the front sensor in the gap between the bottom of the headlight housing and the bumper. There is just no room for this unit behind the grill.

It seems to work fine and it has a tone that gets my attention.
