Ugh are you serious? I thought you could...I dunno what to do. I'm getting so frustrated over trying to hardwire this thing...I've searched through everything but yet still can't seem to do it. Any suggestions??

Actually, it is very easy to feed thewire to the fuse box. If you pull off the drivers side visor you get some access. I did this as follows, with panel open at the sun roof feed the wire towards the windshiled and pull it out from under the headliner, remove the door seal by the A-pillar and pop off the A-pillar cover. just need to put a little pressure on it and the top pops back. Route the wire down the A-pillar, on the drivers side of the dash remove the dashboard access cover. Feed the wire from through the back of the dash and to the fusebox, get an add-a-circuit and tap into a fuse that has switchable power. I have done this for about ten different owners and can get it done it about 14 minutes. Perfect install and safe.

DONE! finally. Used the add-a-circuit method and was fine. Only hard part was finding a bolt to use as a ground...but eventually found one that I could get to. Thanks for your help!

No problem, glad it worked. As far as the ground goes I drilled into the dash support when I had the side panel off. Now I have a place for my other items that need a ground.
