Moss Mini riding light "angel eyes"

Has anyone seen them lately? It is an "angel eye" for the front riding lights (riding light/turn signal) I am wondering if they come with just the halo ring or does it replace the whole assembly, becasue it seems like there is only one bulb in it. Also, the price is $85, for a pair or for each assembly?

thanks

Do a search for angel eyes or halos. There was a thread on this recently.

ok, well I did a search, and found nothing about the Moss Mini versions or anything abour the riding lights period. So I ask again. Has any seen the angel eyes for the RIDING LIGHTS from Moss Mini and if so, do they replace the whole housing, or does it just come with the ring? thanks for the help!

They replace the entire housing. It is the same product (or at least the same design) as the one from MikeyTheMini (newministuff.com). It is discussed extensively with many photos in this thread: http://www.mini2.com/forum/exterior/...ics-added.html

judging from that thread, it seems as though the HALO effect replaces the factory riding light. so that means that you only have the turning signal blb there right? Looks nice, I might have to pick them up and have a look see.

I have them and love the way they look!!!!

Hi Konrad,

I bought them from the first shipment Moss received. They went in easy with no problems and look great on my BLK mini. I couldn't believe the price. I've seen these on over seas sites going for much more.

The way they work is you remove the whole main bulb housing from your old light and put it in the angel eye. It's really easy. you just rotate the old one counter clock wise and it unlocks from the housing. Then you do the same to put it into the new one.

I already had the silver coated bulb which you want to use. You can us the stock orange bulb but it won't look as good.

The color of the angel eyes look great with my xenon head lights.

awesome Longboard! one question though, hows it look with just the angel eyes and fog lights on? I really like the way it looks stock and am a little curious because all the pics I've seen are with the fog lights turned of?

I've been looking for the thread I saw on the lights but can't seem to find them. I know there was one. It started off as a group buy then it fell through. then I think rallymini was talking to umnitza about putting angel eyes in the headlight housing. There were references to Moss and Mikeythemini and Mini2.

Am I losing it or did the thread get deleted?

Anyone?

It is a direct replacement (both function and physical part) for the existing OEM housing. The original turn signal bulb holder is used directly. The running light (the halo part) is illuminated by 2 LEDs, and they are wired into a connector that plugs into the bulb holder for original running light.

I have it but haven't installed it yet because I think the halo looks very dim. I've been playing around with how to make the halos look brighter.

I run mine with just the driving lights on during the day. The look is great. I have yellow tinted fog lights so the contrast looks cool when you combine the two. Sorry but I don't have first hand experience with stock fogs.

That said, the angel eyes rings are LED bulbs. They produce a slight blue tint color. I have been thinking of changing my yellow tint to blue to match the rings. Or you just need to change the bulbs in your fog light to the high intensity xenon "type" bulbs. They give off the same blue-ish effect.

Its hard to explain the blue because its very subtle. They do produce a whiter light over stock but with a very small blue tint to the color.

I hope I'm making sense

It was in here. Thats what got me wanting them.
I was reading about during the day at work. That same day I received an email from Moss about the angel eyes. I bought them strait away and love the things. They really look cool on but also look 1000 times better then the stock ones when you compare the two when turned off.

I love mine!! I did change the original led's as they were too blue though. They match the Xenon's almost perfectly. Heres a couple of pics

Are these street legal or for "off road use only?"

They are street legal in Europe ("e marked", the European equivalent of our DOT approval). I'd be surprised if anyone has even submitted them for DOT approval here.
