I need DIY instructions for fitting HID/Xenon

I am converting my halogen headlights to aftermarket HID

I know this is not legal so please dont persuade me for stock retrofit

The problems:

1st, Where do you guys put the ballast? right under neath the headlights?

2nd, The wiring? The wiring between the light bulb and ballast, it has to travel between the stock connector to ballast then back to light blub. These wires are in the way when i try to put back the black plastic cover.

3rd, Do you guys have problems fitting the light blub into the headlight case 3 metal clips. It seems that my HID light bulb has actually thicker base then stock, the the metal clips refuse to hold it in place.

Any solutions?
I have installed aftermarket HID on my other cars but did not have any of these problem.

I would get a picture of a factory Xenon light or go to the dealer so you can see how the factory mounts the ballast and runs the wiring from the ballast to the light.

The ballast is mounted right to the bottom of the light, there is plenty of room for one under there.
