I have noticed that in the past few weeks my autolock stop working and today I found FM preset 1 mysteriously set it self to 106.3 and all other 11 stations were set to 89.6. I'm worried something has started to go wrong w/ the computer, also I had my car in for service (to check brake noise) would they have adjustd any of this?? I don't think that they would have needed to and as best I can tell all else is the same. I can reset the radio stations (rarely use it anyway), and have the dealer re-activate the autolock I just hope this is not a sign of things to come.

 

Maybe they disconnected the battery for some reason?

 

That was my first thought, but I would have expected all the radio staions to be the same, also all of my other programmed functions remained functioning and the dome light didn't come on after service (as I have the car set up to do). When I went out tonight, I also noticed I couldn't put the window down from in the car until I started the engine, I do this on a reqular basis to listen to the exahust, but to make sure the battery way okay I check the radio, worked but when I shut it off (still before starting the engine) the MFSW controls stayed lit ,I planning on checking this in a few hours, just to see if its normal. Also thought of something, if I take the MINI to autozone and had them plug in an OBDII, would the computer throw a code and not activate a warning light, thus giving me a point to start from??
