Driving light switch etc,

Anyone put the switch in the blank across from the TMPS reset switch on the center console? It is exactly the correct hole for it and I would prefer it there instead of by my knee. Just wondering how much a hassle it is to remove all the crap needed to run the wire extensions.

Also, Anyone use something other than rivets to attach the light brackets?

I would love to move my switch to that location, but I don't think the wire is long enough...

As for mounting the brackets, I didn't want a permanant install with rivets (nor do I have a rivet gun)...so I just got some screws and nuts from Home Depot. You'll need 6 of each - I can't remember what size I used 6/32" seems to ring a bell though. Oh yeah, and make sure you get the stainless steel ones.
