wanting a beep when locking my 03 mcs

OK, electrical-heads this one's for you!

First I posted this request in Beneath The Bonnet. IT went off-topic in a hurry. I just found this "new" forum about electrical mods. Who Hoo! I hope someone who reads the posts in here has a solution to this Q.

I see all the turn indicators flash once when I lock the car, but I want/need an audible alert. How would I do it if I wanted to use one of the two horns on the MINI? Would it be simpler to use a piezo buzzer?

I just now finished my beeper installation, and what a kick! It's worth the $11.00 at Radio Shack and worth the time.

Whoever first thought up this mod - Kudos to you!

Paul
