Disabling DRL's (daytime running lights)

I've tried searching for answers but just can't seem to figure out how I can disable the daytime running lights on my 05 MC. I really don't like how my MC's highbeams just light up when i turn to the second click on the ignition before I even start the car. Even with the e-brake up, it still lights up. Is there any way I can disable the DRL's or will the dealership do it for me?

DRL's are programmed by the dealer, you can either have the dealer program them off or pull the bulbs

You are right about the dealer programming - but you can't remove the bulbs (they are the high beam bulbs run at lower power)
