Rear seat heater options?

Hey, all! I was just curious as to if anyone has installed seat heaters in the rear seat of their R55/R56. I would prefer under the cover heaters. Both of my cars have factory front seat heaters (required for any vehicle we get by my wife) and I would like to have the option for my kids in the rear seats.

I did a quick search and didn’t find anything related to this, so if anyone has any info or can point me to any topics relating to this, that’d be great!

Thank you!

Just bought this one a few days ago as a “parts car”, but with how complete it is, I MIGHT fix the engine and get it back on the road. Base Cooper MT.

This one I’m currently rebuilding the engine and plan to use it as my DD. Clubman S MT.

You would be better with the heated seats mod that people do for the fronts, but do it on the rears.

I seen it done on the front, never on the rear of an R56, i heard someone did the same on the rear of R52 but they never posted the how to

I guess it would be the same as fronts you would just have to undo the seats and insert the pads. Wire to the center console rear section for the switches.
