Connecting wiring for trailer lights to 2018 JCW Countryman

Hello All

i'm trying to add wiring to just the lights on my little trailer and i'm coming up against a struggle to figure out which wires i should tie into to get what i need.

Ultimately i have a zero cut clamp on trailer wiring control module : https://www.etrailer.com/Custom-Fit-...119250KIT.html

i just have to clamp these little sensors over each of the wires in question.

When looking at electrical diagrams i'm coming up bupkis, though.

I can hook up my running lights to the side markers easily enough, but that leaves me with turn and brake.

This diagram i found suggests the turn and brake lights are tied together however.

I'm hoping anyone will have advise for me.

~~Dan

i did find this diagram:

v

this implies that
brake is black/yellow
left turn is grey/blakc
right turn is ... also? grey/black
running is violet/yellow

https://www.outmotoring.com/trailer-wiring-kit.html

does have a guide however the colors it provides do not align with the electrical diagrams:
Location of Connection Mini Cooper Tail Light Harness Wire Color Modulite Wire
Color

Function
Driver Side Access Black w/White stripe Yellow Left Turn
Passenger Side Access Black w/ Yellow Stripe Red Brake
Passenger Side Access Grey w/ White Brown Tail
Passenger Side Access Blue w/ Grey Stripe Green Right Turn
Thankfully none of what i'm about to do is invasive, but i'm really hoping someone here might be able to shed some light on my situation.
