Why?
Nice job but at a loss why you did it.
That space you used in my car is filled up with a sub-woofer.

Weight distribution, handling. Battery is an 800CCA that weighs about 50 pounds so it’s considerable.

it may not make a huge difference but it only cost me a few bucks in supplies short of what I already had, and I never carry enough with me to need to fill my trunk.

I wish I had done this in 2018 when I was tracking my car frequently.

Is the battery vented to outside the car?

If not a sealed battery nor vented, you have a explosion hazard there.

Even a sealed battery needs venting.

Do you feel the difference? Was it worth the work/expense? Did you consider a 20lb braille battery?

I don't know too much but will the battery get too hot in the summer sitting in the trunk?

I can move the vent back there. Just hadn't thought of it. And yes, I would much rather have put that 17 pound braille battery in but that's another $220 or so, and I would have moved it to the back anyway, so I can do that later. I'm not worried about heat, I figure its not going to get much hotter if any in the car than under the hood.

But yes, can definitely feel a difference. High speed turn in is a little sharper, and I get more rotation at the back. Its a great feeling for only having spent a few dollars in supplies and a few hours of time for a mod that nobody else that I can find has done to one of these cars yet.
