Can't remember the bulbs that go into our fog lights. The ones in front that go on with the switch on the dash. Are there any LED replacement bulbs for fogs? Hard to get these changed out.
Are you talking about the Rally lights that are on the grille or the fog lights in the bumper? What year, early MINIs in 2002 had a change out in the bulbs. We have the Ziza ones which i like over the led ones as they have a natural light and better for the fog, sometimes the LED light in the fog is too reflective and does not cut through to the road.
fog lights up to 07/2004 55 watt, H7 halogen
from then 55w, H11 halogen
should be available at any auto part store ... and if searching for an LED those are the spec's
the difference between to H7 and the H11 is pretty obvious if you have them side by side; the mounts are very different. I'd suggest taking a bulb out and carrying it into a good auto part store. You'll probably find both standard halogen and led replacements.
Thats weird. They might have that because what happened back in the day is the older foglights had an H7 and a socket part. Then MINI updated the part with the H11 bulbs right around 6/2002.

You don't say what year your Mini is?? I have swapped out my regular fog lights out for LED 06/R53, they look good
which is why I suggest pulling a bulb and taking it to a store to compare ..... or just pull a bulb and look and the mounts:
H7 - this is a halogen
H11 - this is an LED but the important point is the MOUNT and electrical connector
as a MINI 'plank owner' ... I had a very early 02-S when there were few on the road and parts were hard to find .... I've found the Haynes to be pretty accurate in general. Altho I sold my 02 years ago, I still do regular maint' and mod installs for a 2004 a buddy has .... Haynes ain't failed me yet. But I do see frequent threads about GEN1 owners getting sent incorrect parts ...... espcly when ordering on-line. As I'm also a 'classic' owner I've also come to seldom trust what a book, on line reference or 'expert' tells me is the correct part. I trust but verify now. Learned this after fighting with ignition parts for my 79 sworn to be correct by an expert and after 6 months of crappy running determined to be WRONG after I started over and VERIFIED (expert had incorrectly identified the dizzy resulting in wrong Pertronix insert which 'fit' just well enuf to have the car run like crap .... but run. Once I finally pulled the dizzy and found a model number I ordered the CORRECT Pert' insert and after a 5 minute swap TA DA the car had never run better. Trust but verify!)
p.s. my 02 used that same H7 bulb for the high and low beams of the headlights .... they just lined up to different lens ..... only difference with the fogs is the lens and low mount .....
