anyone done any arduino gauge integration on r53's? The chrono pack is effing useless I need to get some idiot lights & audio feedback if there's any problem on the track with oil temp/pressure/rpm (calculate what it should be & warn if wrong) and water temp, and a simple shift light

not sure yet what sensors these r53's have that I can tap into, minimum is oil temp & pressure, water temp, and RPM

 

I did an extensive project with Arduino for a Westfalia Vanagon camper. The greatest challenges with this kind of project is not the electronics or sw, but in the packaging of the stuff in the cabin. Being able to 3D print will help a lot. The other major problem is inter-connectivity - that is compact connectors and thin wiring that bring all the sensors and display together.
