Electrical Changing CAN tool to the right dash setting?
Changing CAN tool to the right dash setting?
Tried to use my 2nd-hand CAN tool to read a code the other day but couldn't get it to work. There were a bunch of menus and sub-menus that didn't make any sense (speedo was reading on the x5 hash-marks between whole numbers, lots of sub-menus missing, etc), so I'm assuming the tool must have been set up for a car with the MINI connected dash previously.
Considering the readings on the speedo are completely off and I am essentially flying blind, is there a trick to get it back to the non-connected dash I am missing?

Think I got it straightened out... Still not 100% on it since there was no tach option 7 for the connected dash and it's still showing some x.5 type readings when I try to read codes, but everything else seems functional.
