Help needed with rally light install

I fitted the new LED rally lights to my Roadster this weekend. I have Xenon headlights and the MINI LED DRLs as well. I thought I had done everything right (whoever designed the footwell module should be taken out and shot, by the way), but they don't light. The LED in the button lights, but the lights don't. I checked for power and ground on the relay module, and all the connections seem to be right with my multimeter. The only thing I didn't do due to lack of time was to look on the connectors at the lights to see what shows up there. I'll do that test this week sometime.

The instructions say that no coding is required. Is that true?

I think I found a possible cause of the problem. I was using these instructions from the pre-LCI cars, which have you connect a wire to pin 4 of one of the connectors in the footwell. I found some newer instructions here which have you connect that same wire to pin 41 of that connector. Now all I have to do is take the stupid footwell apart (again!) and swap that wire over and see what happens....

OK, just to wrap up this thread, connecting to pin 41 DID solve the problem. The supplied wiring harness had a connector pin on that wire, so I snipped that off and used a tap connector to hook it to the wire that was already in pin 41.
