Does anybody know if there is a conversion that can be done to replace the fog light optics with driving lights?

These MINI DRLs are still fog lights. I have them on my Roadster, and they are definitely bright, but they are not driving lights.

Driving lights are a different beam pattern. I doubt that driving lights would work too well so low down anyway, You need a little height to get an alignment that would illuminate the road at a distance.
