Reset EGS using ISSS

Hi
can anybody help me out in resetting my auto transmission (R56 MCS) using either ISTA P or D? Im stuck in limp mode.
Or maybe by changing the adaptive transmission mode?
I only have access to an ICOM system with ISTA P or D.
thanks!!

ISTA/D should be able to clear the module after a quick scan. Limp mode should activate an error code. Follow the procedure plan and it should reset the ECU.

HI
Thanks for the info, here are a couple of videos using the ICOM system, but then im losing connection, dont know if it is the LAN cable or else?

If you follow part 1 2 3 4 and then the video called lost connection, you can see a few of my problems.
Keep in mind that this car is an ongoing project in panama.
thanks

Was the car in an accident? A lot of those errors look like wiring was damaged and their numerous communications faults on the bus.

I also watched the ISTA/P video, the reason it says "Not Connected" is because the ISID isn't connected to a ISPI Workshop network. It's absolutely normal for Not Connected to be displayed.

Not sure why you are having so many connection issues with the ICOM. If you think it's the LAN cable, replace it with another LAN cable. There's nothing special about the one that ships with the ICOM except that it's long.

You may just have a bad ISID installation or a faulty ICOM, which is quite common with Chinese clones.

Thanks Dracon!!!
i will follow your advice and will recheck all cable connections.
About the car: Previous owner auctioned it off as a car involved in head on collisions, but was the body was completely repaired.
When we got it, it was missing all the front crash sensors (wheels well), TPMS sensors (again in wells), external temp sensor, AC compressor and condenser, Xenon headligths, fog, sidemarkers, driver and passenger airbag. Transmission was on limp mode m3, but the engine started. THey also mention that the steering column was replaced and the key programmed.
I have been in contact with the icom supplier from china, and between today and tomorrow i will have access to another mini cooper although is an R53.
Regarding your MOST question about any other module been removed, i really dont know. The only things not working right now on that car is the transmission (limp mode but it moves the car and back up in reverse), the air conditioner, parking lights (maybe is me that i dont know how to put them), the external temperature sensor and airbags (because we haven't bought them yet).
There is a sensor that goes into the dash but i dont have it, right behind the hazzard button, what does it do?

thanks!!

Hi Dracon
please help!!
this is what happened:
After changing the USB cable on ICOM B and Lan Cable, it finally went thru ISTA P session.
I will upload videos about it, but the main problem is that my car was programmed to a wrong VIN and configuration!??
After the session with ISTA P, my car doesnt work the following stuff (besides been the wrong VIN)
1. Xenon headlights flicker
2. IT shows as it were a convertible with the top down.
3. THe speedometer and odometer doenst move.
4. doesnt show the automatic gear selection.

What do i need to do in order to have my car back? Everything except the limp mode was working in my car!
please help me.
thanks!!
