CD changer preparation

My Car via VIN states this was included.

Does this mean that the fibre optics are there and that adding an iPod kit will be less expensive?

I believe I could code the ecu myself (i hope), but wanted to know what exactly " CD changer preparation" meant.

"CD changer preparation" means there is a preinstalled cable from the stereo to the CD changer compartment. To install a CD changer, you would only need to plug in the box and do the coding.

The iPod adapter uses the CD changer cable. See the installation instructions: http://www.outmotoring.com/images/ho...CD_Changer.PDF

Thanks, so I have to buy the adapter and plug, then simply do a quick code via NCS?

Does "satellite Tuner Prep" also mean it has the fibre optics?
