Help!!!!!! No power

Ok so I will prefeace this by saying I am an idiot.

I was doing suspension work when I dropped a nut down under the fuse box in my r53. I realized I needed to unscrew the fuse box to get to the nut. In the process my ratchet hit the power cable and sparks flew for a second then nada....no power to the whole car period. Battery has power, pos terminal in engine bay has power. The power cable at the fuse box has no power.

I am PRAYING their is an inline fuse that blew and saved the day and not that the whole ECU is fried.

Where should I start? Is there a fuse inline to the fuse box? Must be if there is no power to it.

All help is mucho appreciated

IMO Sounds like you blew the fusible link. It is located in the hatch next to the battery. You will see the red power cable going into a yellow box. The fuse is in that box.

You still should check all your fuses to see if you blew anything else. Good luck.

Did you ever find that nut? I'm facing a similar problem, but rather than a nut it's a socket. I'm assuming you disconnect the battery, remove the power connection to the fuse box and it comes out after removing the 2 bolts.
