It's been a 6 month saga.. cruise stopped working, dealer changed brake sensor, stopped again, over the next 4 visits, (always working when it leave, but failing after a few days), dealer claimed they checked everything, sensors, computer, ignition, wiring harness, etc. could not find the issue,,told me to trade it in! Brought it to local garage with mini experience, they changed the brake sensor again, "reset" the computer and it worked.. for 2-3 days. reset to factory defaults again and it worked, 2 days, seems that if the vehicle sits for any extended length of time the computer looses it's "cruise" memory? Has anyone ever had any issues that re-setting the computer causes the cruise to work? everything else is 100% and car only has 52k miles. Suggestions?
