Im confused, you said you need tach signal but then again put in parenthesis miles/hr. Tach is revolutions per minute. Crank sensor is located on front of the block. Not sure about ecu pin location. Some triggers use signal from coil as well as coil is triggered in repetition matching crank speeds.

Cant figure out though if you are looking for rpms or speedo signal mph.

Post pics when complete if you can, Im intrigued by these things.

Also, look for wiring info for the shift light people mount to the steering console right below the dash. Not sure if the shift light is a jcw or aftermarket part but it would also operate off a tach signal. Wiring could be similar to what you're looking for.

For some reason defis Green wire(speed) had to be taped to jcw tach wire (obd2 pin9). Now I am trying to figure out where this yellow w/green tracer wire leads near steering column for clean/easier install. Any thoughts?

I will post some pics later this afternoon.
