needs help front foglight installation ASAP

hey all,

got my nokya yellow bulbs today and tried to install them ran in to a pretty difficult task.

how do u take the bulbs out? i cut my wheels left and right with my small hands and got the rubber cover out, saw the back of the housing for the fogs but for the life of me i cannot get the oem bulbs out! i was afraid if i twist harder i'd break something. any simple steps i missed? i even got the tabs out and pushed the "carpet" out.

please let me know

thanks

-MS

Once you have access to the bulb holder (after removing the lower large round cover in the wheel well)you just grab the rear of the bulb holder and rotate it about 1/4 turn counter clockwise and the holder should come right out. I just tried it on my 2010 in the garage. On a car that has never had the bulb removed it might be a little stuck. If necessary, you can use a pair of channel lock pliers to increase your leverage. If you really get desperate, try removing the headlight (4 bolts and an electrical connector) and try it from above.

Thanks, I was able to get the harness off 10 mins after I asked , it was so difficult that I took the wheels off and lifted the car to have more leverage, finally got it. Thanks for the help.

Your hands were probably the first to touch that bulb holder since the car was assembled 3 yrs ago. Sometimes the plastic bits stick together over time. Sorry you had so much trouble but I'm sure you'll like the yellow bulbs better than the white (changed mine last year). A+ for perseverance!
