I was thinking about this recently too. I would like them in the lower grille on the sides of the intercooler. Would love to see it done!

I think the upper grille is too curved (top to bottom) to make the lights flush with the grille, unless you want the lights pointing upwards.

I was going to install them in the upper grill with a surround that will adapt the lights to point correctly. They are small HID's with spherical lenses.

Oh ok, I thought you were talking about bigger lights. If I did it I would use lights that are about the size of the OEM driving lights, maybe a little smaller.

I don't think there is enough headroom and there is not alot of depth either

wow! great job , but I don't think in realitity I could make that work. What I'm going to do when the lights arrive is to take a straight on photo of one. Then print out 2 photos actual size and cut/paste them on a piece of cardboard. I can play with the locations that way. I'm kind of leaning towards mounting them more close together.

I put two PIAA 1500's in my lower grill but you need a metal grill or you will melt it

Where did you get those lights from if I can ask? I love your thought process, but I want ones probably 3x the size.

I'd snag your grill and work so far, but I have the factory aerokit bumper and that has it's own stupid grill lol.
