Headlight Harness Help

I am not a car guy and don't look under the hood unless my car stops. Forgive me if these are stupid questions and thoughts:

Two months ago I killed Bambi in my MINI $8000 later the car is back and running. A few days after resuming driving my passenger side headlight and turn signals went out. I returned the car to my body shop, who incidentaly did a fabulous repair job. They found that the dohicky that plugs into the light assembly had a burnt out contact. They said they'd order a replacement and settle with my insurance company.

Two and a half weeks later the part still hasn't come in. I don't know if they are ordering the whole harness or just the plug part, but in any case, is it that hard to locate that item? Is this what they need:

If so, I'll buy the damn thing myself. I just want to be able to drive the car after dark.

If that is the part burnt out on the headlight that is correct. All you have to do then is remove the back side of the headlight after removing it, and replace the harness running in to the h13 bulb

Call your insurance company.......they have the leverage you seek to move things along.....usually one phone call does the trick.
