Remote Key Conversion?

I was wondering if anyone has done any key conversion from their stock remote key to an alarm/remote starter key aftermarket?

I am thinking of getting a Remote starter/Alarm to be installed into my 2002 Mini Cooper. I just dont like the idea to have more keys in my pocket or having two remote controls with the aftermarket alarm key and the stock key remote.

I would like to be able to use one key remote and can it be done?

If you have done it. Where and what is the brand name you got and picture would be nice too.

Let me know thanks.

I am surprised that no one posted anything about key conversion.

What do you all use. Do you use two remote keys while you have an alarm in your car or do you use one key remote?
