I've got a bike rack mounted on my roof that impedes the sunroof from opening. Now that it's hot as blazes in the south, I'm missing the ability to open the windows with my fob as I approach the car.

I'd like to disable the sunroof from opening so I can once again use this feature.

After a bit of searching, I found a claim that the F15 Fuse controls this action. Will removing this fuse cause any issues? Is there another confirmed way to kill power to the sunroofs actuator?

 

I find that on my 2010 the windows roll down before the sun roof opens. Try hold the fob button down for a shorter period of time.

 

Not the case on mine. Sunroof will bump the bike rack before the windows get down more than a couple inches.

Popped the F15 fuse from the footwell area. Sunroof disabled.
