Ipod problem

Hi all,
my ipod connection all the sudden to become analog, just the driver side got sounds now. It works fine with CD or radio but the ipod connection (the dealer installed option).
Anybody got any idea what is going on here?

I'm not sure if your ipod connection in the 06 uses the same as my 11, but if it does, it might just be a loose plug. On mine, there's a cable that plugs into the bottom of the ipod and turns into two plugs that connect to the car's female sockets: a USB and a mini audio jack. Try pushing the mini audio jack in and see if it was loose. It would cause exactly what you're describing. If that doesn't fix it, you might have a loose connection behind the jack, or a problem in the cable. Hopefully it's an easy fix!

+1 for checking the plug, I was gonna say the same thing. On my '11, one of the plugs that goes into the control panel came loose and the sound was only coming into part of the car.
