Need a quick boost install diagram.

Ok, so its been a couple weeks since my boost gauge stopped working, all of sudden today it starts to work a little, i lost my instal lpaper and would like to know if someone recently did an install or remembers the steps..

All i remember is, change map sensor to alta red box, hose goes from there to the plastic round thing, other end goes into the black box, black box has a wire that goes into back of the gauge, other gauge is the power......and a line that connects to the power and to illumination, am i forgetting something, is there anything that connects under the steering colum? I thought i remember something hooking up there, cause im thinking a wire is loose somewhere.

Sounds right. The Alta red thing is just a spacer.. Dont "Change the sensor to red box"

Ive had some loose wiring on the Prosport POS's and it seems that if I just wiggle and check the connections to the black box and the back of the gauge everything returns to normal.

I think any wire under the column would be accessory power... You need Power, Illumination, and then pressure info..

ok, so i connected the illumination, since its lit up, it has power obvious cause it works, but i swore i hooked up something under the column........how can i tell if there is pressure? when it worked today the needle jumps up really fast and another question is, why is my needle at the bottom and not at 0?

Well under no boost or idle or light driving the sytem is at Vacuum so itll go the other way, then as you get into throttle the turbo basically kicks in and builds boost pressure... the PCV system pretty much runs both directions as a result

You can 'take away' vacuum really quick and the needle will move up out of it pretty rapidly with any throttle blip or press

It sounds like you have it correct. Could just be the power connection is loose somehow... I used those tap-on connectors and these wires are so tiny that they could come loose
