I would like to add a second dome light - one just inside the rear hatch. I would diode "OR" it with the 'trunk' light so it would come on when either light came on. Does anyone know where I can get a complete OEM dome light assembly, or do I need to buy that from a dealer?

 

I just put in an all weather LED Strip.....wired it to the rear cargo light so it comes on and goes off with the built in timer.

I might resort to using Oznium. I already have some ultrabright LEDs in the "bulbs" of the dome light and cargo lights, but I thought it would be neat to have a perfect match. My plan was to cut an oval hole in the headliner and put it in.

I think there is enough room above the headliner in the area below the antenna (I don't have satellite radio).

 

For the Dome Light either the Dealer or Pelican Parts or Penske Parts.

As for room above the head liner there should be enough room as long as you get it in the right location.

But as gray raven said just wire it to the rear light and your done.

I did what gray raven did and it works great.

 

I got one at Mt View Mini. About $100. Expensive, but at least it will match perfectly.
