i have the factory rally lights installed, with H3 55W bulbs. one of them is burned out, so i wanted to take the opportunity to upgrade the bulbs, if possible.

I'm sure they will work.However, I would recommend Sylvania H3ST BP SilverStar 55-Watt High Performance Halogen. Cost is about $20.00 each. Super bright. Be sure you get the "H3st"

 

those are dual-filimant bulbs, actually..

 

I ordered these from a MINI dealer and they are almost as bright as the zenon
headlights I have. And no, they are a single filament 4000k bulb. Part # 63 17 0 399 680
