iPod help?

So I just installed the OEM ipod thing I got off of outmotoring. Install went okay and worked great as soon as I turned it on. But after a little bit of time with it I found that the whole radio unit occasionally turns off when I don't want it to. And also, my radio no longer turns off with ignition.

Any ideas?
