Is my mini pre-wired for alarm?
Hi,
I want to get the Mini Alarm installed.
So i checked: http://home.comcast.net/~sfconnell/mods/alarm/home.htm
It says that Mini's after 03 are pre-wired.
I have a Mini One Seven from 10/2005.
But if i look at the left rear of the mini, there is not a connector for the tilt sensor.
Even if i look under the hood, there's no connector taped for the siren.
Is my car nor prewired

Yes, your MINI is pre-wired from the factory. You have to look hard in the left compartment. It's in there. Same thing for the siren. I bought the MINI alarm components and installed it myself. Very easy. You just have to have the dealer program it. Fortunately, my dealer did it for free.
