New battery install?

Do I need to reset anything after replacing the battery? I plan to put in a new batt before it dies on me.

On my 2004 MCS I didn't have to reset anything after I replaced my battery. In particular, there is no 'security code' for the radio.

Thanks All. I always go for Optima Reds when time comes to replace oems. Any good deals for 34R in SoCal that's better than costco?
