W5W L.E.D. replacements

Has anyone tried these?

I'm skeptical, 1) I know a bunch of discussion about the resistors and LEDs setting off "bulb-out" warnings, but them stating it works with "12v" not sure if it means anything towards the situation. I used to hook up LEDs to my car with a resistor (forgot how many ohms), but they worked with 12v and never set off any warning lights. But you never know with new cars I guess.
2) I feel like they'd burn out very quickly because of cheap LEDs etc,

but then again, for 6 bucks maybe I couldn't go wrong??

i'm using the amber WLED-x6 LED from SuperbrightLEDs.com for my sidemarkers. No bulb out lights for the sidemarkers. If i were to make another order, i might try the High Power WLED-xHP6 or WLED-xHP instead. The x6 is bright enough for daytime use, but not as bright as the stock amber bulb (i have clear lenses)

Putting LEDs in the rear turn signal gave me a 2x faster blink. No bulb out warning though.
