X-Line Oil Pres Gauge, signal comes from...?

I had a shop wire up my oil pressure gauge. Now I've got power, but the gauge constantly reads 0 and blinks. Has been installed for just under 18 months. Where would I look (other than the back of the gauge) to check for a disconnect? Because I had a shop install for me, I'm not sure where the cable goes and I'm not too keen on tracing it unless I have to.

Talked to a mechanic who seems to thing the sensor portion that plugs into the engine goes bad, and is a fairly common problem with pressure gauges. New problem is though, I can't seem to find a vendor who will send just the sensor portion of the gauge, and STRI's website doesn't have a way to contact them.

Anyone know where I could get the oil pressure sensor/transmitter for an STRI X-Line gauge?
