ScanGauge Settings, what do you watch?

I just installed a Scangauge and am wondering what people find valuable as a default set of parameters. I currently have Intake Air Temp, Water Temp, Closed/open loop and Manifold Pressure. I'm not sure if the MAP and Closed/Open loop readouts really give me any valuable information, especially with an Alta PnP sitting on top of the ECU.

So veterans, how do you use your ScanGauges to maximum advantage?

Tia!

I have Intake Air Temp, Water Temp, Battery Voltage and Boost (XGauge) displayed, but sometimes cycle through the latter display to view other things.

MPG, FWT, RPM, MPH. Sometimes if I'm feeling guilty I'll hide the MPG.

Intake Air Temp, Water Temp, Open/Closed Loop and MPG or Ignition advance.

I have other gauges for Voltage and Boost.

Sounds like my inital setup is pretty consistent with what people watch. I guess the next question becomes how to interpret the closed/open loop and MAP data. Can this be used to get maximum fuel ecconomy on the highway? Is it even valid with the Alta PnP ECU?
