Driving Light Rewire

I have the OEM Driving lights on the grille of my 02 MCS. They come on with the high beam headlights. I was wondering if anyone had changed this so that they can be turned on independently?

Yes, some have. You need only move the power wire for the relay from the high beam tap to a source which is always on with the ignition.
Note that this is a bad idea for other drivers, as when they need to be turned off for oncoming traffic, you have to find the switch instead of simply flicking the stalk.

It's easy enough. Just find the wire that powers the parking lights. Then when any lights are on you can switch them on and off at will. I wired mine like this and put the switch to my driving light next to the power mirror buttons. Super easy to switch on and off, plus I can turn them on without having the high beams on.
