Hey guys, i needed a new battery and wanted an optima so i went to autozone and they only had the red top 34/78.... which i have read that it fits (which it does) but has to be mounted backwards to match polarities..

my problem is that i cant figure out a way to maneuver the power (red) cable to fit. the ground (black) cable is easy..

please help me out with a solution.. i dont wanna return it and hunt down a 34R... thanks in advance.

 

I have a yellow top version. I had to bend the aux power lug upward slightly in order to fit the terminal on the post. The aux power cable is the short red wire that goes to the orange and black fuse box. The terminal will be at an angle, but it fits well.
