Installing a CompuStar Alarm/Auto start system.

Im looking into installing and CompuStar Starter/Alarm on my '07 R56. Anybody know whether this would be a good idea? Let me know! Thanks!

i would guess an autostart would be very complicated and expensive. You would probably need to hide 1 of the keys in the car somewhere because of the immobilizer. Also, i would be weary of messing with the electronics because everything on the MINI is controlled by the computer.

^ i agree. i was thinking of this a while ago. and also the only one i could find to work with a manual car, required it to be in N when you left your car, so when you start it, it wouldnt stall, and i wasnt the most comfortable with that idea. My friend has it on his manual '87 mustang but obviously theres a crap load less of electronic computing in that vs our super thinking ECu's
