See above and below, I put mine in the upper most 10Amp slot on toward the front of the car, not sure just which one that is without pulling the panel, find something switched so you don't kill the batt and you're set.

I *think* you want the regular one, easiest way tobesure is bring in a spare fuse from the car and match it up againstthe package, picktheone that's the right size.

The black box with the phone jacks is what you use to connect the V1. Connect the red wire to the add-a-circuit wire and crimp it hard. Connect the black wire to a screw under the dash (ground wire). You should also have a longer black cord with phone plugs on each end. This is the cord you will connect to the black box under the dash. I would position your VI first and plug in the cord. Then tuck it into the front edge of the headliner, down the A-pillar, through the end of the dash and then under the dash near the fuse box. If you do it this way the excess cord will end up under the dash.
You need to connect the Add-a-circuit to a fuse that comes on with the key. You can read the fuse map on the door to find things you know that come on with the key. You need to use something that is 10 amps or less.
Good luck!

You will connect the black wire from the black box to a ground screw under the dash. Red wire to Add-a-circuit wire and crimp. Pull out the fuse from the slot you want to use. Plug in Add-a-circuit, plug the fuse you pulled into open slot in Add-a-circuit. Make sure to use the right fuse for each device. Add-a-circuit looks like this:
Yes, use the black "phone" cord they provided.

If you pull off the knee bolster (or Euro parcel shelf if you have that) at the top edge, just under the dash pieces on either side of the steering column, you'll find two screws that are connected to a metal frame. That's where you connect the ground wire. Buy some wire and some crimp connectors so you have enough wire to reach those screws.

got my visor clip mounted into the ceiling liner. just to confirm, the
7500's wiring (phone cord) worked fine on my V1 without reversing
polarity.
i noticed that my ceiling is drooping a little bit in the front (not related
to the visor clip) so i wet it down with a spray bottle and proping it
upwards until it reshapes itself. will keep it proped for a month or so
until the roads are clear from salt. car's hibernating anyway.

You need to cut the red wire on the V1 box and push it into the open end of the blue sleeve on the Add-a-circuit. Then get some pliers to squeeze the blue sleeve until you can pull on the wire without it coming out of the sleeve. The black wire is the ground. To make the black wire long enough to reach the ground screws I told you about, you may need an extra length of wire and one of those blue sleeves to splice the wire together.
You're almost there!
