gauges not working?

so i just installed my stri boost and water temp gauges 2 days ago, then today my tach and speedo just froze where they were and wont move or light up or do anything. when i got home i checked the wiring at the gauges and everything looked fine, then i checked fuses and didnt find any blown but fuse F5 which goes to the gauges has no power going to it at any time. Im looking for possible places to check out next. P.S. I have navi so its tach and speedo on the steering wheel if it makes any wiring differences.

thanks
Greg

Could the wire you spliced by the steering wheel have been damaged enough to limit the current to the gauges? Try removing thw wiring for your new gauges to see if the tach and speedo come back. If they do, then you know where the problem is.
