How hard to replace module on driver door?

My driver door will not lock with a key, remote or interior switch, its DEAD. How much is the car and how hard is the install. The only part that looks hard in the small space for my hands to fit.

Its not that bad. I just replaced mine two weeks ago. Took about 45 minutes. The unit is large, and the opening to get it out is rather small, thus I spent the majority of the time trying to get it out. Be sure to note how all of the cables and levers hook up, because you end up doing most of it by feel. I bought the part form Classic Mini for $105.00.

Thank you, the dealer wanted $183 for the part. Your hook up sounds much better. Do you have to remove the glass or door handle?

No, all the work is done from the inside, just need to remove the door panel. Here is a "how too" for removing the door panel.
