remote turn on wire?

I currently have a wiring loom which has a remote turn on wire already spliced into it. The only problem with this is that after the car is turned off everything stays powered for about a minute. I'm going to be installing an aftermarket radio and would want it to turn off when the cars off....anyone know a way to program this or a place where i can find a wire/fuse for this?

edit - o yea, biggest reason i wanted this was because when you open the doors it activates the remote wire....

Look at the Sticky (hot or Not) at the begining of these electrical threads. It will explain a lot. If you are going to install an aftermarket radio, if this involves an amplifier I would be careful where you land your wires due to circuit limitations.
