Does anyone have any experience with these HID light upgrades?

The main issue with these types of kits is that they just change the bulb along with the electronics and are not at all optimized for use with the reflectors that are in headlamp housing. Often times you create a lot of glare blinding oncoming vehicles.

Lee the short answer is no. the long answer you could find with a search. in fact i think i started a thread with your same question. it would require self leveling balasts reflectors and alot of other stuff you dont want to deal with. the bulb upgrades are illegal and dangerous w/o the proper hardware. someone was looking into doing it but it was alot alot alot of money

OK, thanks for the info. guys. I'll stick with updating my wheels, and get some of those better bulbs when the time comes to replace.

Lee

I've upgraded HIDs on most of my cars.... the easy/cheap way is pretty nice. Just put them in and reaim your headlights. Its not that big of a deal, it might not be optimized but you can see a LOT better, which in my mind is what matters.

My $.02,
Josh

It will be hard to find something that will have a dual bulb so that the hibeam is covered too. The H13 size isn't very common.

Call Lewis, the Boy Genius, at the Electrical Connection. He'll give you real world options that will actually work and be legal.
I like the EDot bulbs.
