Torx screw size for removal of the tach

Does anybody know what torx screw driver size is to use for taking out the tachometer? Thanks.

Use extreme caution when re-installing the screws they can be cross threaded very easy. There is an actuall warning about this in the Service Manual and install documents from MINI.

Word on this one. I ended up getting a couple of extras to replace a cross-threaded one.

Smallest is T-10 (side mirror actuator), largest is T-50 (seat bolts) Most are T-20 - T-30

For certain jobs (the tach in particular), it is much better to use a screwdriver style Torx driver rather than the Swiss army knife style with lots of sizes (although handy to own one of those too). For the large sizes it will be a Torx socket for a ratchet wrench.
